The prototype for this platform largely relies on players being assigned a particular QR code which is a part of a batch of other like QR codes. The game requires the players to travel to different checkpoints in the real world and solve puzzles that allows them to gain access to a cryptographic key. With this cryptographic key, they must find other players who have solved their own puzzles and decipher which player has a correct cipher and which player might be a sabatuer. If the sabatuer is able to convince the other players into trading codes with them, then they advance to the next stage. If the non-sabatuer players can choose correctly, they will advance to the next level. The QR codes will act like the 0s and 1s of Conways game of life and will be alive and not alive based on who goes and scans the QR code. Maybe the mission of finding a lot of alive QR codes is to try and maximize how many live nodes the player has.
